- To fetch and display your current Nesco meter balance via third-party APIs.

Your meter number is securely transmitted over the internet to the required APIs to fetch your balance information. We do not store your meter number on any of our own external servers; all personal data is kept entirely local to your device and is only transmitted directly to the necessary utility endpoints for the sole purpose of fetching your balance.

The App requires the following device permissions to function correctly:
- Internet Access: Required to communicate with the balance checking API.
- Notifications: Required to send you local alerts when your balance falls below the threshold you have configured.
5. Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us. Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, harvest, or sell your data to third parties. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
